Character roster at a glance

Looking for a specific Sans variant or checking which characters your collection is missing? The Undertale Adventures X community directory records 127 distinct unit names, including variants and evolved forms. The roster below organizes those names into lookup tables so you can distinguish similarly named characters.

Character names and classifications follow the fan-maintained Undertale Adventures X Wiki unit directory. Its categories include Common, Rare, Ultra Rare, Legendary Rare, Mythical, Secret, Limited, and Soulbound, plus a separate Evolutions section. These labels describe how the directory organizes units; they are not a performance ranking.

For collection tracking, keep three distinctions in mind:

  • Full names matter. Sans, Sans (27 hours left), and Sans (12 Hours Left) have separate entries.
  • Variants remain separate. TS! Underswap Sans and Underswap Sans are both listed, alongside Blueberry.
  • Categories can overlap. Moldessa appears under both Rare and Evolutions, so counting every listing separately would count it twice.

Use this page as a checklist of documented names. It covers the X wiki's roster, while availability, acquisition requirements, and newly added units require checking the game.

Common and Rare characters

The directory lists 19 Common units and 12 Rare units. The table combines both categories alphabetically, making it easier to find a name without searching two separate lists. Letter bands refer to the beginning of each unit's name.

Name rangeCommon charactersRare characters
D–FDogamy, Dogaressa, Doggo, Elder Puzzler, Ficus Licker, FroggitDummy
G–LHeats Flamesman, Ice Cap, Jerry, LooxGreater Dog, Gyftrot, Lesser Dog
M–RMigosp, Moldsmal, RockMigospel, Moldbygg, Moldessa, Onion San, Parsnik
S–ZSmall Bird, Tsunderplane, Vegetoid, Vulkin, Whimsun, WoshuaScared Donut Guy, Shyren, Snowdrake

Several names are easy to confuse when checking an inventory. Migosp is Common, while Migospel is Rare. Moldsmal is Common; Moldbygg and Moldessa are Rare. Those spellings identify different entries, so a similar name should not automatically count as a collected character.

The dog characters also span both categories. Dogamy, Dogaressa, and Doggo appear under Common, while Greater Dog and Lesser Dog appear under Rare. Keeping the complete names in your checklist avoids treating the whole group as one collection slot.

Moldessa needs an extra note: its appearance here does not cancel its placement in the evolution index. Keep one record for the name and note both classifications beside it.

Ultra Rare, Legendary Rare, Mythical, and Secret characters

The next two categories contain 13 Ultra Rare units and 11 Legendary Rare units. Mettaton and Mettaton EX illustrate why full names matter: the directory assigns them different rarities.

Name rangeUltra Rare charactersLegendary Rare characters
A–GAstigmatism, Chilldrake, Final Froggit, Flowey, GlydeAlphys, Grillby
H–MMad Dummy, Mad Mew Mew, MettatonKnightKnight, Madjick, Mettaton EX, Muffet
N–SNapstablook, Pyrope, RoyalGuard 01, RoyalGuard 02Nice Cream Guy, Papyrus
T–ZWhimsalotTemmie, Toriel, Undyne

For cross-reference, the older Undertale Adventures Wiki also names Alphys, Mettaton, and Muffet in its Hotlands update notes. Its guard names include a space—Royal Guard 01 and Royal Guard 02—where the X directory uses RoyalGuard 01 and RoyalGuard 02. The classifications on this page follow the X directory.

The smaller Mythical and Secret groups are:

  • Mythical: CORE Sans, Delta Sans, DustDust, Gaster, Possession Sans, Sans, and Sans (27 hours left).
  • Secret: Aftertale Sans and Mix Sans.

The Mythical category contains seven names, and Secret contains two. Aftertale Sans and Mix Sans should therefore be tracked separately from the Mythical Sans variants.

Pay particular attention to DustDust's spelling. Its Mythical entry uses DustDust, while the evolution index uses Dust Dust (Cosmic). Keeping those displayed names intact makes searching more reliable. Likewise, the hour counts in the Sans names distinguish entries; do not shorten both to “Sans” when recording your collection.

Limited and Soulbound character variants

Limited is the largest category, with 49 named entries. It includes multiple versions of Sans, Papyrus, Flowey, and other characters. The table groups them by related names for easier comparison; these navigation groups do not establish shared unlock requirements.

Every character in the following table is classified as Limited by the Undertale Adventures X Wiki.

Soulbound contains two additional entries: PRESTIGE Sansta and Ubistvo. PRESTIGE Sansta belongs in a separate checklist slot from Sansta, which appears under Limited. Preserve the PRESTIGE prefix when searching for the unit.

Some Limited names include a parenthetical form, such as Axetale Sans (Ravenous) or Underworld Papyrus (Ominous). That naming pattern alone does not place them in the wiki's separate Evolutions section. Record their listed category first, then investigate any upgrade relationship individually.

Similarly, the six location-labeled Dust sans entries are six separate names. Their labels distinguish the entries, but the roster itself does not establish an acquisition sequence or tell you whether one must be obtained before another.

Evolutions and named forms

The community wiki's Evolutions section contains 13 entries and describes them as stronger forms. This table arranges those entries alphabetically. It is a lookup index, not a recipe chart: it does not assign an unverified starting unit, material cost, or unlock condition.

Name rangeEntries in the Evolutions section
C–FCORE Sans (Anomalous), Dapperblook, Delta Sans (Unleashed), Dust Dust (Cosmic), Final Froggit (KING)
M–PMettaton NEO, Moldessa, Muffet (Muffin), Possession Sans (Overgrowth)
S–USans (12 Hours Left), Sans (Judge), Tsarderplane, Undyne The Undying

This section helps resolve several common naming mix-ups. Final Froggit appears under Ultra Rare, while Final Froggit (KING) appears here. Muffet is Legendary Rare, while Muffet (Muffin) has an evolution entry. Mettaton, Mettaton EX, and Mettaton NEO likewise occupy different places in the directory.

Those placements establish distinct roster entries. They should not be treated as a complete explanation of how each form is obtained. In particular, an alphabetical table does not imply that nearby characters evolve into one another.

When tracking forms, use a short checklist:

  • Copy the complete name, including parentheses, prefixes, and hour counts.
  • Record the directory category beside the name.
  • Keep acquisition notes separate from ownership status.
  • Count Moldessa once in a unique-name total, while retaining both of its directory placements.

That approach keeps your collection count consistent when moving between rarity pages and evolution pages.

FAQ

What does “undertale adventures x all characters” include here?

It includes all 127 distinct names recorded across the X community wiki's rarity categories and Evolutions section. Separate variants count individually. Moldessa appears in two sections but contributes only one distinct name to the total.

Is this an official, permanently complete roster?

No. It is based on the fan-maintained Undertale Adventures X Wiki. It covers the names documented in that directory, but newly released or undocumented units may be missing. A category label also does not guarantee that a character is currently obtainable.

Why is Snowman missing?

The older Undertale Adventures Wiki lists Snowman in its Christmas banner notes, but the X wiki's unit directory does not include Snowman. That difference is left unresolved rather than treating an older banner listing as confirmation of an X roster entry.

Are Limited forms automatically evolutions?

No. The directory places Pumpkin Sans (Reaper), SP! Dust Sans (Necroptosis), and several other parenthetical variants under Limited. Its Evolutions section is a separate list. Follow the recorded classification instead of deciding from the name alone.

Does the highest rarity identify the best character?

Rarity alone does not establish which unit performs best for your team. This roster identifies names and categories; it does not rank damage, range, utility, or upgrade efficiency. Use character-specific information when choosing units for a particular stage.
